Robert Hardie is a 21 year old student currently on his 3^rd and final year at Huddersfield University. For his degree course in Media and Sports Journalism he is working on a series of articles to be published on the Meltham CC website.

He will hopefully be speaking to many of the club members in order to produce a series of work based on the past, present and future of the club. The work that he will produce is part of a practical project that will count towards his final degree classification.

Rob was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and has lived in Huddersfield for the past 3 years. He is a keen sports fan and while Newcastle United in particular dominates his sporting interests, he is also enthusiastic about cricket and rugby league. Rob also enjoys ten-pin bowling having competed for Newcastle’s youth bowling club and was a member of the British Ten-pin Bowling Association.
